MediQuest has evaluated all of the Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) approved for use by Health Canada, and recommends the Defibtech Lifeline AED due to its ease of use, reliability and cost. MediQuest is able to provide any of the AEDs approved by Health Canada.

Medical Direction

MediQuest Technologies provides National Medical Direction for the use of AEDs. By providing this service, our clients are assured of the highest quality training and protection from liability.

Training

Annual training on the use of the AED takes 4 hours. The student to instructor ratio is a maximum of 12 to 1, and special training AEDs are used to simulate a variety of the situations the participants may be required to deal with. Training is provided on-site for client convenience.

Post SCA Service

On request, MediQuest will assist in data retrieval from an AED used in a rescue, forward the data to the Medical Director and the Emergency Medical Service. In addition we provide overnight service for spare parts and servicing of your AEDs. Annually our technician/instructor will inspect your AED for functionality.
